In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful An explanatory statement for public opinion – Gaza (O you who have believed, if a sinner comes to you with news, then investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and then become regretful for what you have done). God Almighty has spoken the truth. We received with great shock the news of the murder of our betrayed daughter, community leader Islam Hijazi (Al-Fram), who was carrying out her charitable work in serving our people under the current circumstances. After heading to the hospital, we were surprised that government authorities in Gaza informed us that the incident occurred as a result of a mistake in diagnosing the jeep that our daughter was driving and that the intended person was another person. This caused us greater shock than the news of our daughter’s murder. How can an innocent life be taken and 90 bullets fired at her car just because of a wrong diagnosis? The incident resulted in many gossip and rumors that affected our daughter’s reputation, and a lot of whispering and gossiping from people who do not know the details of what happened. Therefore, we We are waiting for the burial procedures to be completed, until government agencies quickly issue an explanatory statement on everything that happened, while bearing all the moral, legal and tribal consequences of the incident, and considering our daughter a martyr of duty.
