Follow-up_ Médecins Sans Frontières: – The murder of our colleague Abdel Hamid Qaradia, who died from severe wounds as a result of being hit by shrapnel during an Israeli attack that took place on Thursday in Deir al-Balah, which also claimed the life of our colleague Omar Hayek, and led to the injury of a number of our other colleagues. Abdul Hamid was 43 years old. He was the fifteenth MSF staff member killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023, and the third colleague we have lost in less than twenty days. We renew our call for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the bloodshed. We are deeply hurt and outraged by the loss of our colleagues, a tragic reminder of the continuing pattern of complete disregard for civilian lives and human dignity.
