D. Muhammad Abu Salamiya – General Director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City: Gaza City has been completely wiped out in light of the continued Israeli bombing and the departure of a number of hospitals from service. The tanks are hundreds of meters away from the Shifa complex, and the medical teams are working in extremely difficult conditions. There are approximately 50 martyrs on a daily basis in Gaza City and dozens of severe and serious injuries. Desalination plants in Gaza are no longer operating in most areas. A number of international organizations operating in Gaza City have gone out of service, led by Doctors Without Borders, and this increases the pressure on the hospital. Children in Gaza are either martyrs or starving. What is happening to the children of Gaza are intentional crimes. The occupation does not allow food and medicine trucks into the Gaza Strip, and there is an aggravation in the scale of famine and an increase in the number of martyrs due to malnutrition.
