The Palestinian prisoner Imad Imran “Tawfiq Shufali” was upgraded from the village of Burin, south of Nablus, inside his cell in Karimis Prison in Austria.- Participated in the battles during the confrontation of Beirut’s invasion in 1982, and in response to the Sabra and Shatila massacre, he participated in the implementation of the Vienna airport operation, which targeted the Israeli company “Al -Al” in 1985. – The Austrian authorities arrested him wounded following the Vienna airport operation, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment, and later added 19 years to his sentence.- He escaped from his prison in 1995, but the Austrian authorities managed to arrest him again, and added new sentences to be imprisoned against him.
