Imad Al-Jarrah went to aid to secure a living for his family. He did not carry a weapon, he was not a fighter, but rather a person searching for life in the midst of death, for a loaf of bread amidst the rubble. Israel killed him in cold blood, just as it killed other defenseless civilians, adding his name to a long list of martyrs who carried nothing but the hope of survival.
