Prisoners’ Information Office: Prisoner Bara’a Abu Khadija, who is in her fifth month, suffocated as a result of gas spraying inside the bathroom of Damoun Prison during the suppression of female prisoners, amid fears for the safety of her fetus. The prisoner lost about 8 kilograms of weight, suffers from scaphoid syndrome, and has a history of repeated cesarean sections, amid fears that she will have to give birth inside the prison. She has been wearing the same clothes for two and a half months due to the lack of suitable clothes, and she is forced to use blankets while washing her clothes, amid the deterioration of her psychological condition and her concern for her children. We call for urgent international intervention to conduct the necessary medical examinations to check on the prisoner and her fetus, and to provide medical care, treatment, and appropriate clothing, holding the prison administration responsible for her safety.
