“There will be no textbooks,” Advisor to the Minister of [Education] and Higher Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Alia Assali, on the approach to the open educational resources system for the primary stage: There will be no [paper_books] (but rather [digital] books) and there are many non-digital sources, much more than the textbook. Parents will be provided with paper and digital references to be supportive to the parents and easier than books in following up on their children. The issue is not a digital transformation, but rather the style of learning and its sources. The new system will be a national way out for solving education problems in Crises and emergencies. This experience will make students love the school and will be angry when it closes. Source: Generations Show less
