American content creator Rachel Griffin-Accurso, known as “Ms. Rachel,” pledges to donate $1 million to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, matching the donation of American rapper Macklemore. Rachel called on wealthy celebrities to make similar donations and speak out against the genocide in the Gaza Strip, stressing that using platforms and privileges to protect children and human rights is a “moral imperative.” Its announcement came after Macklemore was excluded from singer Ed Sheeran’s tour in the United States, against the backdrop of his positions in support of Palestine and his criticism of the occupation’s crimes in Gaza. McLemore had pledged to donate one million dollars from his net proceeds from Sheeran’s tour to six organizations supporting the Palestinian people.
