The Public Prosecution and the Police reveal the murder of a woman in Bethlehem. The police spokesman, Brigadier General Louay Irziqat, stated that the Public Prosecution and the General Investigations of the Bethlehem Governorate Police were able to uncover the circumstances of the murder of a 24-year-old woman, who was found dead inside her home yesterday in a neighborhood in the city of Bethlehem, where her husband claimed that she had committed suicide, in an attempt to camouflage himself, remove suspicion from himself, and mislead justice. Irziqat explained that a report was received by the police stating that the citizen was found dead inside her home, and immediately a force from the General Investigations and the Forensic Evidence Team, accompanied by the Public Prosecution, moved to the site and began investigative and legal procedures. The Public Prosecution decided to seize the body until an autopsy was conducted. Irziqat added that the Public Investigation Prosecution, in cooperation with the Forensic Evidence Team and the Investigations Department, began collecting data as the husband of the deceased was suspected, and after hearing his statements, he reported that he had killed his wife, and that he had tried to mislead justice by fabricating a story that she had committed suicide. He pointed out that the suspect was taken into custody, in preparation for his referral to the competent authority to take legal measures against him.
